| James Sage (1749 - 1820) | James in 1779 volunteered his services in the Rev. War and served eight
months under Captain Robert Sawyer. Later he was drafted to serve additional
terms in the war. In 1781 he served under Captain James Montgomery for
six months and in 1782 he served and additional six months under Captain
John Montgomery. James fought in the battles of Monmouth, Bunkerhill,
