One of the best ways to coat the fish completely in flour or whatever batter you end up making is to put that flour in a paper bag or plastic paper is better drop the fish in and shake. – Joshua

Dan’s Pan Fried Trout

“Either actually catch the fish or if skunked stop at market on the way home and never tell.”
That was opening trout fishings first lesson from my father.- Danna

  1. Clean the fish
  2. 3 eggs beaten
  3. Mix together 2 cups Flour ½ cup corn meal 1 teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon pepper
  4. Get a cast iron skillet hot
  5. Use canola oil in the bottom to fry the fish
  6. Dip the clean fish in egg
  7. Dip in dry mix and fry till golden and crisp
