Cabbage Rolls

Grandma DeBorde’s Famous Cabbage Rolls

1 large cabbage
1 ½ lbs hamburger
1 cup of rice (cooked ahead of time)
1 onion minced
2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
10 ½ ounce can of Campbell’s tomato soup
½ cup sour cream

  1. Remove outer leaves of the cabbage and in salt water
  2. Boil till flexible and soft.
  3. Cook the hamburger into tiny pieces
  4. Add minced onion to fat and brown
  5. Combine the ground hamburger, onion and rice together
  6. Salt and pepper very well.
  7. Drop a spoonful of the mixture into each of the leaves And fold them over like you see the (grape leaves)
  8. Put the bundles into a pan and cover with the undulated tomato soup

And bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.

When you serve them make sure to have the sour cream to place on top.
